This 1981 Hodgson
3-axle flat-bed equipment trailer was purchased by the LRFD in
1982, to transport the many items necessary for static displays of the fire
apparatus
in our collection.
Display stanchions, ropes, descriptive placards and easels, wheel pads and
other
items are neatly stored in sectioned areas for easy access. It can also be
used
for transporting larger items such as engines, transmissions and fire
apparatus
parts and equipment. It can even be used for hauling small, lighter weight
fire
apparatus if necessary.
It is pictured here being pulled by our ’54 Seagrave Tow
Truck (App. 198).
